Welcome to my International Medical Corps fundraising page!

Hi everyone, welcome to my fundraising page for International Medical Corps!

I am excited to raise funds for International Medical Corps because their mission means so much to me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal and I hope you’ll consider supporting me on my fundraising journey.

Since their founding in 1984, International Medical Corps has helped tens of millions of people in more than  worldwide including Ukraine, Somalia, Yemen and the United States. With more than 8,000 staff members—96% of whom are hired locally—they provide lifesaving healthcare and emergency relief worldwide. And they train local people to become effective first responders themselves, helping to build self-reliance.

International Medical Corps focuses on providing lifesaving care to the hardest-hit and most vulnerable groups—including women, children and those forced to leave their homes because of emergencies. At the first sign of need, their Emergency Response Teams rapidly deploy to begin their lifesaving work, even in some of the world’s most challenging conditions.

Your support today can help save lives, relieve suffering and strengthen resilience where needed most worldwide.

Thank you!

About International Medical Corps

We are a global humanitarian organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering. Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and nurses, we are a nonprofit with no political or religious affiliation, and now have more than 8,000 staff members around the world, 96% of whom are local. Our mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that strengthen underserved communities worldwide. With the flexibility to move fast and respond rapidly to emergencies, we offer medical services to people at the highest risk, always working to support local healthcare systems and promote self-reliance. However, our role extends beyond providing emergency relief to disaster-affected communities. Training has always been a central pillar of our mission. Because of this, we have trained thousands of people each year from local communities, national, regional and local governments and from non-governmental groups, including health professionals, so they have the knowledge to become their own first responders.
